Just so you know, there are rules against abuse of animals and I'm sure Speed Racer is the exception to the rule. Just to let you know SOMETHING positive, in the first week when us producers got our new bibles (all the paperwork for our productions) we received in there a letter and it was stated 3-5 times that whenever we want to use any animal.... even insects in a film we need to notify the humane society and they will need to monitor us. So, I just wanted to tell you that on a positive note of our industry standards.
